One of the best “waiting spot” at Grand Indonesia, if you (especially husbands) know what I mean. While waiting your spouse going wildly shopping, you can sit here, drink coffee and enjoy Indonesian culinary as good as from their original places. I tried Nasi Tumpeng Kecombrang, the famous Bistik Lidah Sapi and Cireng Tusuk as the side dish. All are a perfect match for an empty belly. Plus, you can also enjoy the city west view during morning or especially on sunset.

Never know that there is a nice seating area inside Alun-Alun. First time here, and love it! Ordered the old-time favorite Black Glutinous Rice with Coconut Milk, Colenak, and of course accompanied by black Sumatra Sidikalang coffee. Super yummy! Will return to try other menu! Love the wooden chair and the cozy atmosphere in the area. If you missed your childhood food, come here and try!

What I like the most is their concealed location, right behind the area of handicrafts and batik. It’s a perfect place to stop by after and long shopping walk or rendezvous with friends. They serve plenty loca snacks my favorite are banana fritters with sambal roa, fried cassava or singkong goreng, Lupis, and many more. Staffs are friendly and helpful. They also very generous with timing and will let you sit there for sometimes. It might look like old and less modern setup with all heavy chairs and table but trust me these are comfortable. Waiting time is good, food is authentic and value for price. Always come back here whenever am in Jakarta

Nasi goreng kambing is delicious, fragrant and lots of meat. Soto betawi and soto mie also really nice ( a must try I say). Soto tangkar, a bit too oily for me, but it was tasty . Sop rawon also taste like my mom's cooking. I tried their sate cireng as well, chewy and tasty. They have plenty of Jajan pasar you can choose, and most of them are tasty. Price is really reasonable, good portion too. For dessert try their ice cincau, very refreshing

The hidden gem place for Traditional Coffee and Indonesia Traditional Snacks. They provides very good coffee from Toraja, Aceh, Lampung, Bali, Semendo; and snacks such as: Kue Lupis, Gethuk, Pisang Goreng, etc. And many others Indonesian good foods (Sate Taichan, Nasi Goreng, Sop Buntut, Ketoprak, etc). The place also cozy, and located inside of Alun-Alun (Grand Indonesia).

Waroeng Kopi is such a hidden gem inside Alun Alun Indonesia! The Indonesian food is absolutely delicious—authentic flavors that truly hit the spot. The ambience is warm and inviting, making it perfect for working, catching up with friends, or enjoying a meal with family. It’s located a bit far from the crowd, which makes it feel like a peaceful escape, plus the view is lovely. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you want good food and a cozy atmosphere in the heart of the city!

I like this place, hidden gems in Grand Indonesia, not too crowded like another coffee shop. The view is amazing. They served traditional foods. The best food for me in here are cireng and nasi gila. They need to improve their service and must be more quickly.
